going to work

Today is Chris' first day back to work and my official first day of figuring out what Jack and I are going to do for fun during the day.

After his first feeding Jack was wide awake so today I read him some Santiago restaurant reviews in Spanish. This must have made him hungry, because he's wanted to eat every 2 hours since then.

The picture you see is of him napping after a stroll thru the neighborhood. Soon after I took this picture, though, I made the mistake of turning on the garbage disposal, which made him wake up screaming. Won't be doing that again. He calmed down only after I sang him the "I'm sorry for turning on the garbage disposal" song and the "what are we going to make for lunch" song.

After lunch we walked Chris back down to the office and now Jack is sleeping peacefully again in pretty much the same position you see above. All in all a pretty good day.
