Brrrrrr...

Just as I was getting into a nice walking routine with Grace it decided to get super cold around here - 14 degrees today - maybe mid-20's by the end of the week.  So lots of indoor fun instead!  Lots of playdates and outings - our favorite one recently has been the Reptile Zoo. Jack has been getting into building with Legos and making "movies" with various action figures and other toys - curiously, he likes to use lots of Grace's toys in these movies - Hmmm. 

Grace is about as mobile as a baby could be without actually crawling - she will spin herself around and/or roll to her destination and has been up on her knees rocking and getting ready to move.  Not sure if we're ready for that yet!  She's starting to figure out the point of a lot of her toys and has recently started trying to put blocks in the holes of her farm toy and rings on her ring post - not with much success yet, but she's working at it. And as you can see she's figured out which side of the phone the noise comes out and will hold it up to listen better. Can't believe she will be 8 months old on the 31st!
