Medical update

It's been a long week. Both mom and dad had their dentist appointments (Monday and Tuesday). As with all things now, such simple tasks require more planning and more time than pre-Jack.

But most importantly, Jack had his first shots today for some of his vaccinations. He took it pretty well, but the needle did upset him (as it should). Mom and Dad held his little hands during the shots. He then cried a bit and fell asleep on the way home while in the truck.

After a peaceful nap, he woke up screaming. Likely the tylenol had worn off and he was hungry at the same time. But the worst part is that his tear ducts are starting to kick in, so he's starting to look pretty sad when he cries.

Dad came home from work for some extra comfort time. And Mom snuggled him the rest of the day.

But all is well now. He was his normal self again this evening: smiles, goo-goos, hugs, naps, etc. Hopefully he'll get a good night's sleep and be all better tomorrow.
