Not one rainy (or even cloudy) day! After Disney World we spent a few days with Jack's Mimi & PopPop to really relax. Breakfast at the Elks Club on the beach, a visit to Boca Grande (gorgeous!), cruising around on PopPop's boat, poolside afternoons and a big seafood dinner at the Oyster Bar to top things off. Jack learned so many new things on this vacation it's like he's a whole new person! He figured out how to paddle around the pool pretty well (with the help of a couple of noodles), use binoculars, get on and off an escalator without help, AND drive a spaceship (OK, it was the Buzz Lightyear ride, but he was pretty impressed with himself).
One quick story: Leaving to go somewhere, I reminded Chris to put the backpack in the car, not the trunk because "as soon as we get going Jack is gonna say, 'where's my milk, where's my blah, blah, blah...'" So we get in the car and Jack says with a smile, "Mommy, where's my milk? Where's my 'blah, blah, blah'?" Almost sarcastic - good thing he said it with a smile:)
