Before heading back to Michigan, we stopped in Quarryville for a visit with the Shumakers and our first experience at the Solanco Fair. Hopefully the first of many!!! Chicken pot pie made by real grandmas, funnel cake, chocolate milkshakes, cows, ducks, pigs, corn and Kelly's prizewinning peaches and spaghetti sauce (really, she won a prize - ribbon and all!). Follow that up with a crisp cool evening and down-home parade (Jack's first) with some of the best friends ever and you've got a perfect end to summer.
