Jack's Back in Pucon

Our friends Kelly, Sam, Ben and Kate arrived last week and we took them on a whirlwind tour. We started at the Ritz, drove south to Salta del Laja, then onto Pucon, and on the way back North to La Serena we stayed one night in the Colchagua wine valley. Rikki and I made this same trip with Jack just over a year ago (he was pretty tiny back then)

This time, we stayed in a mini-mansion at Cabanas El Dorado:

The weather was slightly better this time. But there was rain and that meant lots of snow on the mountain tops. Sadly, the ski slopes were not open yet, but we drove to the ski resort at the base of the volcano for pictures and to play in the snow. Jack slept :-(

One the last day we drove the wine route in Colchagua and the weather was much better than last time. Jack got a little bored on our tour of the Montes winery, so he spent most of his time running around with Ben and Kate.



That's right: RUNNING.
He likes being chased. And Ben and Kate like to try and catch him. He he was making a run for it.

A great trip. Lots of sight-seeing. We're all settled in here in La Serena for the next few weeks and we'll do a better job at updating the blog (sorry 'bout that).
