We made it back to Chile safe and sound. Jack mostly slept during our flights, but there was one incident in the Philly airport lounge when I had to resort to feeding him in a phone booth (yes they still exist) - he was hysterically hungry, the lounge was crowded and wouldn't nurse in front of all the people. Other than that, the trip went very well and Jack behaved like an angel. In the photo above, Jack is sitting at Chris' feet looking out at the planes in Dallas.
Jack didn't really recognize his home when we got here yesterday, but today he looked around like it was a bit more familiar (probably remembers it from yesterday). We put his excer-saucer out in the grass yesterday afternoon while we tried to play cups (a game of frisbee and beer) and he was pretty content for a while and got to feel the grass on his feet. Today we took it easy, recovered from our trip and took a long family stroll on the beach. I'll try this week to post some of my favorite photos of our trip that haven't made it to the blog yet....
