We made it safe and sound into Miami. The winds were a little strong on final approach, but the pilot brought us all in for a smooth landing. We made it through immigrations and customs. Jack is finally on U.S. soil (at least Contintental U.S. soil as opposed to Chilean U.S. Embassy soil).
Hurricane Fay did cause our flight to Philly to be canceled. So we spent 8 hours in the Miami airport waiting for the next flight. Thank goodness for the Admirals Club (again). There was a play area for Jack (with blinking "stars" on the ceiling) and lotsa space. It turned out to be a fun family day for Jack....he played, napped, ate, played, napped, ate, etc.
So after making it to the U.S., clearing immigrations and customs, and keeping Jack happy while waiting for the next flight, we're ready for the final stages. Next stop: Philly.
